Information for Authors

The official languages of the meeting are English and Italian.

Oral Communications

Facilities for video projector with PC (Power Point for Windows) and overhead transparencies will be provided. No facilities for projection of standard slides will be available.

Check-in preferably the day before your session to submit your files and to preview your presentation. If checking in on the day of your session, please come by at least 2 hours prior to the start of your session. A technician will assist with the upload of your files and provide the opportunity to preview and/or edit the presentation as necessary

Poster Presentations

Posters will be displayed from Wednesday 6th to Friday 8th October.

Authors must be present to discuss their work during poster sessions.

Poster space is 80(w)x120(h) cm (portrait format). Posters must be attached by double-sided tape.

Abstracts Submission

Abstracts should be submitted by 20th July, 2010 as e-mail attachments (Word file) to the address:
office@6mspharmaday-massa2010.it

  • The presenting Author must be registered at the Conference within 15th September, 2010.

  • Authors should indicate their preference for poster or oral presentation(s).

  • Scientific Committee might ask Authors to change their original choice.

  • Authors will be notified about acceptance and scheduling of their contribution within 15th September, 2010.

"Antonio Selva" Young Researcher Poster Award

“Antonio Selva” Young Researcher Poster Award will be given to the young researcher who makes outstanding poster presentations

Eligible applicants include students and researchers who are 35 years old or younger at the time receiving the Award.

The winner of the Best Poster Award will receive a certificate plus a monetary award and one year subscription to the Mass Spectrometry Division of the Societa' Chimica Italiana for year 2011.

Best Poster Award

All presented posters at the MASSA 2010 - 6th MS-Pharmaday will be reviewed on-site by a Committee to select a poster for our Best Poster Award.

The criteria of consideration base on scientific novelty and excellence, logical presentation, aesthetics and ability of the presenter to explain the work.

The winner of the Best Poster Award will receive a certificate plus one year subscription to the Mass Spectrometry Division of the Societa' Chimica Italiana for year 2011.

 

The winners of the Young Researcher Poster Award and Best Poster Award will be announced and awarded at the closing ceremony on Friday 8th.

 

Abstracts Format

All abstracts should be written in English. The paper must be prepared following the instructions provided in the template document; it should be no longer than one A4 page.

Abstract Form

Title of the paper: the title must be written on the first line, with Times New Roman 14 pt BOLD CAPITAL LETTERS. (Centered Alignment)
Two lines of space should be left between the title and the authors’ names and affiliation, between the affiliation and the text, and between the text and the references.

Authors’ names should be with initial(s) only after the family name, without titles, with the presenting author underlined. Authors’ affiliation should be given, if necessary, with superscript numbering. Authors’ names should be typed in Times New Roman 12 pt. in italic character and centered aligned.

Authors’ affiliations: Times New Roman 10 pt. The paragraph has to be written centered aligned with an exact spacing of 12 pt.

Abstract should be typed in 12 points “Times New Roman” font, justified, with an exact spacing of 14 pt.
